From 31 January to 2 February, the second international youth handball tournament ‘Handball is my future’ will be held in Bugojno.
230 young handball players from 11 teams will take part, and they will have their representatives in two categories, said at a press conference.
‘’In the category of players born in 1996 and 1997, they are divided into two groups. In the first group is Qatar, Slovakia, Slovenia and Macedonia, and in the second group is B&H, Croatia and Serbia. The second category is players born in 1998 and 1999, and there are four teams that we have placed in one group. These are Qatar, Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia’’, said Nahid Šupić, President of the Organizing Committee.
According to handball coach Asim Šahman, the tournament presents in the best way B&H and young handball players who achieve outstanding results in this sport.
‘’This is also a good chance to establish friendly relations between handball associations, in this case the Qatar Hanball Association and the Male Handball Club ‘Iskra’ from Bugojno, which is the technical organizer of the tournament. The tournament is funded by the Qatar Handball Federation and the Olympic Committee’’, he said.
