International Passenger Train Ploce – Sarajevo as of November

The international passenger train Ploče – Sarajevo departs from Ploče on November 9 at 3:40 p.m., and the arrival in Sarajevo is planned at 7:07 p.m. In a press release, the Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that the first stop of the train will be at 15:58 at the Metković station, where the mayor of Metković, Dalibor Milan, will meet the train.

After crossing the state border in Čapljina, the ceremonial delegation from Ploče will be joined by the Mayor of Čapljina Iva Raguž. The train from Čapljina departs at the regular time at 16:42, since it is an extension of the existing railway line of the passenger train that currently runs on the route Sarajevo – Čapljina – Sarajevo according to the timetable of the FBiH Railways.

This first train from Ploče to Sarajevo will be met in Mostar by the chief adviser of the City of Mostar, Ines Sulić, and the train will continue to Sarajevo on a regular schedule, departing from Mostar at 17.09.

After that, the train will operate every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until June 25, 2026, and from June 26, the seasonal passenger train Sarajevo – Ploče – Sarajevo will operate according to the schedule until August 31, 2026.
