[wzslider autoplay=”true”]An investor from Kuwait has initiated the construction of the residential and business building named “Ilidža Sky” along the railway in the Sarajevo municipality of Ilidža.

Land costs were 1.6 million BAM, while the building construction will cost around 6.6 million BAM.

The director of Elegant House Limited, Ahmad A. Al-Hasan, said that he visited B&H for the first time in October 2013, with his mother, and fell in love with the country. He was fascinated by the mountains, the air, and the rivers.

He said that he was initially planning to buy only one apartment, but thanks to the experience of his compatriots who are investing in B&H, he decided to invest in something much larger.

The residential – business building “Ilidža Sky” will have 5 floors, and each floor will contain 9 apartments with a square footage from 53.07 m2 to 131.91 m2.

The parking area is planned in the basement of the building, and it will be able to house 36 cars. Another parking zone is being planned in front and outside of the building with a capacity of 14 cars.

The building will also include a supermarket, reception, and a restaurant on the roof of the building.

Al-Hasan said that the apartments are intended for both B&H and Kuwaiti citizens, and that a large portion of the apartments have already been sold.

For the “Ilidža Sky” project, the B&H companies “Džekos” in cooperation with the company “Debos”, as well as the company MDC, as the project manager, were tasked with constructing the building.

Al-Hasan hopes that this won’t be the last investment in B&H, adding that a large number of investors from his country, besides the construction of residential and commercial buildings, are opening Nargila bars and restaurants in B&H, and that there is certain interest for investing in the automotive industry as well.
