Iran has said it has agreed to a visit by a technical team from the United Nations (UN) nuclear agency to the capital Tehran.

“Iran has agreed to a visit by a technical team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to Tehran in the next two to three weeks, but they will not visit Iranian nuclear facilities,” Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.

According to him, the visit will discuss the framework of Iran’s cooperation with the UN nuclear agency under the new circumstances.
