Iran: US sends banned Weapons to Tel Aviv, including Phosphorus Bombs

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Emir Abdulahian said that the United States of America (US) has provided Israel with prohibited weapons, including phosphorus bombs.

Abdullahiyan made a statement to the media in Geneva, where he went to discuss the issues of “lifting the blockade of the Gaza Strip and sending humanitarian aid to the victims of the war,” the IRNA news agency reported.

Claiming that the US is sending banned weapons to Israel through the Greek Cypriot administration of Southern Cyprus or from its bases in the region, Abdullahiyan said: “The US is sending banned weapons, including phosphorus bombs, to Tel Aviv.”

The Iranian minister claimed that the bombs sent were dropped on the people of Gaza and said that the “efforts” of the US, which claims to be making efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza, have not been found in practice.

Recalling his meeting with Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Doha, the capital of Qatar, three weeks ago, Abdullahiyan concluded:

“At this meeting, Haniyeh stated that they are ready to release Israeli civilian prisoners. But Israel did not agree to release the prisoners so quickly. Using this excuse, the Zionist regime is trying to continue the war, massacres and genocide in Gaza”.
