The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has urged all Muslim nations and states worldwide to join Iran in rising against Israel and to use all necessary means to end the “repression of the Palestinian people.”
The IRGC issued this statement on the first anniversary of the massacre of Palestinians at the
Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in besieged Gaza.
“We expect all Muslim nations and Islamic governments to stand with the great Iranian nation and the fighters of the Islamic resistance on a united front against the Zionist regime,” the statement said.
The IRGC urged its supporters to embrace and carry out their historical role and mission.
On October 17th, 2023, Israel launched an airstrike on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, killing over 500 Palestinians. Many victims had sought refuge there following relentless Israeli bombardment of the blockaded territory.
“A year after the wolfish and devilish regime committed the crime of bombing the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza – resulting in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of innocent people seeking refuge and care in that medical facility – the memory of this horrific crime evokes sorrow and grief for humanity,” the IRGC declared.
The hospital massacre triggered global outrage, with widespread condemnation of Tel Aviv.
“This crime further exposed the indifference and inaction of international human rights organizations toward their fundamental duties. Today, under the shadow of this indifference and deadly silence, humanity witnesses the unchecked acts and savagery of Zionists not only in Gaza but also in Lebanon,” the IRGC added yesterday.
The IRGC emphasized that attacking hospitals filled with innocent women, children, the wounded, and the sick is a “glaring mark in Israel’s history of crimes against humanity, and the shame it has brought upon itself and its supporters will forever remain in human history.”
“The supporters of the crimes committed by this perverse regime – particularly the United States (U.S.), which encourages and enables the Zionist usurpers through military deployments, the provision of lethal weapons, and political, security, and intelligence backing – are considered accomplices and partners in these crimes and must be held accountable before competent courts, as well as before human conscience and history.”
The statement underlined the need for the formation of an international front to push human rights institutions and organizations out of inactivity and into action, demanding accountability for these crimes.
“IRGC recognizes the oppressed and suffering Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and liberation from the oppression and tyranny of the occupiers as indisputable. We will not hesitate to offer unwavering support to the Islamic resistance,” the IRGC concluded.
