Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak congratulated the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the upcoming New Year holidays with the message that he is convinced that the next year will be better than 2023.

“In the course of 2023, a new convocation of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was appointed, which created the conditions to finally start dealing with the corrupt system that causes the greatest damage to the citizens of our country.

In this year, we managed to launch numerous activities in the field of fighting crime, and the Federal Police Administration within the Federal Ministry of the Interior successfully implemented numerous actions in which the perpetrators of criminal offenses were brought to justice.

I can officially announce that 2024 will be the year of the fight against corruption, especially the fight against high level corruption. I am convinced that we will manage to deal with all individuals, regardless of the positions they hold or have held and the social status they have, who have participated in corrupt activities in any way. I call on the citizens of our country to fearlessly report the corruption that is destroying the Bosnia and Herzegovina system and driving young people away from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I congratulate all the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the New Year’s holidays with the message that only by working together can we make Bosnia and Herzegovina a safe, economically prosperous and legal state,” it is stated in Isak’s greeting card, FMUP announced.
