Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak reacted to the statement of the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina. entity of the RS Milorad Dodik that he is ready to declare the independence of this entity if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election.
“The name of Milorad Dodik, a politician and criminal from Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been on the blacklist of the United States of America since January 17, 2017. Since that day, the democratic will of the voters in America has changed three presidents, and Milorad Dodik has retained his status persons under sanctions,” said Isak.
He added that the sanctions against Dodik were first introduced by the administration of Barack Obama, and extended by the administrations of Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
“Milorad Dodik, as long as he represents a significant threat in connection with obstructing the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, will be under the sanctions of the United States of America, which is a proven friend of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Isak added.
Is it necessary at all, continues Isak, to remind the president of BiH. of the entity of RS, as members of his family were recently blacklisted, because Milorad Dodik used and still uses his official position in Bosnia and Herzegovina to accumulate personal wealth through bribery, bribery and other forms of corruption.
“His dreams that one day he will declare the independence of the BiH entity of the RS are equal to fairy tales from 2018 that he will head the Ministry of Finance of the USA, no less – no more, than his – Dodik’s people.
“Milorad, if Željka Cvijanović is elected in the presidential elections in the USA, you will still remain under sanctions, because you are a criminal and a destroyer of the Dayton Peace Agreement,” says Isak’s reaction.
We remind you that Dodik said that he believes in the independence of the RS and that he believes that it will have to happen one day, and that he could be responsible for it in some perspective.
“When Donald Trump won in America, I had the intention to declare the independence of Republika Srpska. Then some around me got scared and I didn’t do it. I have to say that today I regret that I didn’t. But if Trump won again, I think I wouldn’t hesitate,” Dodik told TV Prva yesterday, Klix.ba reports.
