The efforts of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip continue.
At the last session of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held on March 28, 2024, an additional 150,000 euros were allocated for the continuation of the project of preparing iftar and hot meals for refugees in the south of the Gaza Strip.
A part of the funds will be set aside in order to deliver packages of food and other necessities of life to the improvised refugee camps around the city of Refah through the international organization Human Appeal and the Jordanian state humanitarian organization Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), before the onset of Eid, the MINA agency stated.
In addition to other activities and forms of assistance, the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has so far secured more than 3.5 million BAM in aid with the contributions of its members to support the population of Gaza.
