Ismail Barlov seals his Performance in Linjan with Bronze and a new National Record

The best para-swimmer of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ismail Barlov, finished his performance at the World Series meeting in Linjan by winning another bronze medal and a new national record.

The World Series in Para-swimming in Italy ended with the final races last night. Barlov qualified for the final and won a bronze medal in the 50-meter butterfly in the junior category.

After winning a medal in the 50-meter breaststroke in the senior competition on Friday, the second day of the competition, this was Barlov’s second medal at this competition. Thus, he completed the treasury of his medals that he won at all the competitions in which he participated around the world.

“We are proud of our guys who prove from competition to competition that they belong to the very top of world para-swimming. They prove that they are worth investing in and that they represent our country in the best light,” said the SPID Swimming Club.

In addition to Ismail Barlov, Ališan Omerbašić also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in Linjan. This was his debut appearance at the World Series.

The Bosnian team competed under the leadership of coach Amel Kapa, ​​competing against 394 competitors from 40 countries around the world.
