Ismail Barlov, the paraswimming representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina won the fourth place in the final race of the meeting of the World Paraswimming Series in Linjano, Italy.
As the youngest competitor in the senior A final in the 50-meter breaststroke discipline, he broke his personal and state record and confirmed the norms for the European Championship and the Paralympic Games with a time of 1:02:56.
It is also the current best time in the world ranking in the SB2 class.
In this morning’s qualifications, he swam to fifth place with a time of 1:04:41.
345 competitors from 55 countries of the world are taking part in the World Series paraswimming competition in Linjan.
