The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that Israel had damaged or destroyed approximately 62 percent of houses in Gaza since October 7th.

Attacks in which Israeli forces have dropped tens of thousands of tons of bombs on Gaza since October 7th last year, killing more than 33,000 Palestinians and injuring more than 75,000, have also destroyed many civilian settlements, including hospitals, schools, mosques, churches, and historic cultural sites.

The Israeli military continues to bomb houses as well as civilian settlements and infrastructure with indiscriminate attacks in Gaza.

“In the ongoing war, around 62 percent of the houses in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed,” it was announced in a post published on UNRWA’s X social media account.

It was stated that Israel also targeted UN buildings, where displaced families fleeing the attacks took shelter.

“More than 75 percent of the population has been displaced, most of them multiple times. When will this end?” UNRWA wrote.

Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7th have killed 33,037 Palestinians, including at least 14,500 children and 9,560 women, and wounded 75,668 people, Federalna writes.
