Israel will reopen the Kerem Shalom crossing on the border with the Gaza Strip today, the Israeli agency in charge said in a statement, adding that aid trucks traveling there from Egypt had already undergone security inspections, Reuters reports.
Israel closed the Kerem Shalom crossing on Sunday after Hamas shelling nearby killed four soldiers.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that at least 34,844 Palestinians have been killed and 78,404 wounded in the Israeli military offensive since October 7.
