Israeli businessman Amir Gross Kabiri, vice president of Zrinjski and the main financier of the club, received death threats after continuing to support his country during the siege of Palestine.
Kabiri regularly publishes statuses of support for Israel and the Israeli army on social networks, and judging by the last story he published, he also receives anonymous death threats.
“Dear haters, we kindly ask you to send your death threats with your full name, phone number and photo. Thank you,” Kabiri wrote in a message published in Bosnian and English.
Kabiri is the president of MT Abraham Group, which at the end of 2021 became the general sponsor of Zrinjski and signed a contract for the next five years.
He is also CEO of Aluminij Mostar.
This is not Kabiri’s first job in the world of football. In 2015, he became the owner of the famous Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv, and signed a contract with China Machinery Engineering Corporation to build a new stadium for the club from Tel Aviv.
