Israeli Businessman sent a Package with a Message to Sarajevo Mayor

The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, published on social networks photos of the package sent to the address of the City Hall by Amir Gross Kabiri, the first man of the Abraham group.

“Today, a package from Amir Gross Kabiri, addressed to me personally, who continues his pressure and threats with insidious methods, arrived at the address of the City Hall today,” she said.

Benjamina Karić stated that police officers of the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior  are currently on the scene conducting investigations.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the MoI and the Ministry of Interior of the Canton Sarajevo, which coordinated and reacted immediately. I will complete my report against Amir Gross Kabiri with the shipment I received,” she said.

In a post on social networks, Kabiri stated that the message he wanted to send to the mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, with the Israel joke was that “Israel lives”.

“The mayor insists on denying the acts of massacre and terror committed by Hamas on October 7, inciting spirits against the Jewish communities in the country and causing dangerous delegitimization that will eventually lead to physical injuries to Jews and Israelis in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Kabiri claims.

“Using governmental institutions to silent a legitimate criticism of public servants is essence of dictatorship, and BiH is a democracy. In an attempt to prevent me from raising my opinion Benjamina Karic is utilizing her political position to shut me down. She won’t be successful,” Kabiri said.

The mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, filed a criminal complaint to the Federal Police Administration against the president of the Abraham Group and the executive director of Aluminij, Amir Gross Kabiri.

Karić wrote on her Facebook profile that she was forced to make this move due to, as she says, months of daily harassment by Kabiri.

“I became the target of this man the moment I did not allow the plaque on the City Hall to be covered for the purpose of celebrating the State of Israel Day, and to several other requests that I considered provocative, although I was ready to give in to everything else. The attacks became more brutal the moment I publicly condemned the killing of innocent civilians in Palestine, but also the killing of innocent civilians in Israel,” Karić wrote.

According to her, Amir Gross Kabiri sent her photos of murdered children through social networks, accused her of supporting Hamas, and condemned her condemnation of the killing of civilians in Gaza.

“With his posts, he motivates and invites his supporters to do the same. He shares and sends videos and photos of brutal murders and abuse to me personally with messages that I perceived as a threat to the safety of not only me personally, but also my family, telling me in them that ‘history will judge me very soon’, and that my views ‘will not be forgiven’, etc.,” adds the mayor.

The mayor of Sarajevo points out that she reported the director of Aluminij, although she did not intend to, because of the increasingly frequent messages that made her feel afraid for herself and her child.

In addition to the report to the Federal Police Administration, Karić also announces a lawsuit for defamation.
