Israeli police officers used force to disperse demonstrators who had gathered outside the United States (U.S.) consulate in West Jerusalem/Al-Quds, protesting Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.

A group of Jewish activists gathered in front of the U.S. consulate and called for a cease-fire in Gaza. At the protest, which was attended by several dozen people, the activists carried the banner “Stop bombing Gaza”.

Demonstrators chanted anti-war slogans and carried photographs of Palestinian civilians killed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.

At one point, the Israeli police intervened, beat several activists, and confiscated photographs of civilians killed in Gaza.

Members of the police pushed and violently dispersed the gathered demonstrators who planned to continue the protest.

Some citizens filmed the violence of the Israeli police against the demonstrators with their phones.

More than 23.800 Palestinians were killed and more than 60.000 were injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, AA writes.
