Israelis Relocating Production From Turkey to BiH

During site visits, several local communities were considered as potential locations for the investment, and in the end, the territory of the city of Gradiska was selected – the investment plan envisages the employment of between 100 and 160 workers.

The Government of Republika Srpska (RS) adopted a Decision granting consent for the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding between the company Aktiv Israel Akril Industries LTD and the Government of RS.

This Israeli company has expressed interest in relocating its production capacities from the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), as well as in launching the production of acrylic bathtubs, shower cabins, panels, washbasins, and accompanying products on the territory of the RS.

Negotiations with Aktiv Israel Akril Industries have been ongoing since December 2024, and during that period, company representatives have held several meetings with the Government of RS and local self-government units. Company delegations have also made several visits to BiH.

During the site visits, several local communities were considered as potential locations for the investment, and company representatives met with mayors and municipal heads with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of RS. After the conducted analyses, the territory of the city of Gradiska was selected as the most favorable location.

The investment plan envisages the employment of between 100 and 160 workers, with intensive cooperation with educational institutions aimed at strengthening the link between the economy and education.

The company also announces cooperation with local economic entities, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the region, as well as the use of modern and environmentally friendly technologies in the production process.
