Israelis spoke for the First Time about the Killing of Hamas Leader: We did not conduct any Airstrikes except the one in Beirut

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari spoke at a press conference about the current situation and potential escalation in the Middle East, stating that the Israeli army is prepared for any scenario.

Speaking about the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hagari said that the Israeli military did not conduct any airstrikes during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, except for the one targeting a Hezbollah official.

“We entered Lebanon on Tuesday night and killed Fuad Shukr in a precise airstrike. I want to emphasize that there were no other airstrikes, missile strikes, or Israeli drones in the entire Middle East that night. I will not comment further on that,” Hagari said.

He then addressed the potential response from Iran and other allies.

“The military will know how to handle any threat. We recently demonstrated that the state of Israel knows how to deal with threats in defense and respond with a strong attack. We have very good defense systems and international allies who have reinforced their forces in the area to help us combat these threats,” Hagari stated.

Furthermore, he pointed out that Israel’s defense is not airtight.

“Be cautious and continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command. The Israeli military is on high alert, both in defense and in offense. Soldiers are deployed in the air, at sea, and on land, and they are ready for anything,” he concluded, Klix.ba writes.
