ITA BiH reveals Information on Revenues collected in this Year

The Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH collected 2,234,000,000 BAM since the beginning of the year, which is by 173 million BAM more in comparison to the same period last year, as noted by the Director of the ITA BiH, Miro Dzakula.

Director Dzakula recalled that the ITA collected a record amount of 7.044 million BAM last year.

He also added that their plan for this year is to collect a total of 7.342.000.000 BAM, or 300 million BAM more than the revenues planned in the last year.

“Considering the much lower growth rate of GDP and the economy as a whole in relation to growth of revenues, we can conclude that important part of the so-called grey zone was turned into a real economy,” noted Dzakula.

He also stated that there is 64.5 million BAM on a special sub-account of the single account and that amount will be even greater when they transfer the funds collected in the month of April.

“These are revenues exclusively intended  for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads in BiH,” stated Director Dzakula.

Dzakula stated that the fiscal stability of all levels of government in BiH depend on the ITA BiH.
