ambasador_italijaThe Ambassador of Italy to B&H Ruggero Corrias visited Tuzla and met with the Mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamović and with the President of the Assembly of Tuzla Canton Slađan Ilić.

‘’With 100.000 unemployed and 80.000 people with jobs, Tuzla is an example – a symbol of social and economic troubles in the whole country. The time has come to give concrete answers to the requests for a better life for the population. With a true path of reform, the B&H leadership can become reattached to the EU and offer a future to new generations’’, said Corrias.

The Ambassador also met with some representatives of the Plenum, Damir Arsenijević and Vedad Pašić. The focus of the conversations was on the protests in the last few weeks, the situation in the Tuzla Canton and the adaptation of the political agenda in response to the social and economic difficulties and specific needs, manifested by the population.

Afterwards, Ambassador Corrias visited the Center Dialogo-an Italian center for learning and promotion of the Italian language and culture, and he met with Italian community.

Ambassador Corrias said that Tuzla is the seat of the Italian representative and an important center, which stands out for great interest to Italian language and culture.
