Ivanic: Following Days are Crucial for B&H

mladen ivanic_fChairman of the B&H Presidency, Mladen Ivanic said that the following days will be extremely important for B&H and that the key people leading this country should sit together and try to reach an agreement.

“We have an open offer from the European Union, it was expected from us to reach a common plan of reforms, but unfortunately I am not optimistic that we will do it soon. If we miss this chance, that might not be ideal, but is serious one, I am in doubt that any serious country that will deal with B&H will appear in the future“, said Ivanic yesterday in Mostar.

Talking about the importance of the regional economic cooperation, Chairman of the B&H Presidency, said that the regional cooperation is essential for one country to be successful.

“Region of the South Eastern Europe is divided and we are all relatively small economies. Thus, a need to be a part of a wider and more serious business environment and the larger market is common to us and because of that we are referred to the mutual cooperation“, said Ivanic, reminding that he does not know for an economy that is successful while it is closed for others.

He added that it is needed to change the political image in the region as well in order to change the image of this region as a region of conflicts, strife, past and various visions.

“There are some encouraging things in this regard, but the business community should keep pressuring the politics to deal with economy“, said Ivanic.
