Adnan Catic, aka Felix Sturm, announced on his Facebook page after accusations that he was doped up during the match against Fedor Chudinov when he became world boxing champion by WBA version in middleweight division.
“They found 3- Hydroxystanzolol Glucuronide! A substance used to pump muscles and gain weight. It took them more than 8 weeks to inform me that I was positive. Usually it takes no more than 2 to 3 weeks,” wrote Catic.
He wondered how Lucas Brown, who fought against Ruslan Chagaev on the 6th of March, obtained his results after only two weeks, and it turned out that he was positive.
“When it comes to me, the analysis lasted 4 weeks longer than usual, until it turned out that I was positive?! I obtained more than 100 doping tests of blood and urine samples in my career and all of them were negative. Many tests were unannounced,” wrote Catic.
He said that he will do everything to prove his innocence.
“When things calm down, you will get a detailed report on my website. When I get new information, I will publish them on this site,” said the world champion.
