Izetbegović Received Governor of the Development Bank of the Council of Europe, Rolf Wenzel

120601413hmBakir Izetbegovic, the Chairman of the B&H Presidency, received today the Governor of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), Rolf Wenzel.

On the meeting, Izetbegovic thanked the governor Wenzel for current cooperation. In addition, he thanked for the announced assistance of the Development Bank for recovery of damage caused by floods and landslides in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the meeting they both agreed that the cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Development Bank of the Council of Europe is very good. The previously mentioned was evidenced on 13th and 14th June when this year’s annual plenary meeting of the Bank will be held. This meeting will be held for the first time in Sarajevo, on which all ambassadors of the member states of the Council of Europe Development Bank will be present.

The main topic of the meeting was the way in which the Council of Europe Development Bank can assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in the reconstruction of endangered areas.

In addition, governor Wenzel confirmed the readiness of the Development Bank to consider all the possible requirements of our country for affordable credit, with the aim of restoration of the damage caused by floods and landslides.
