SDA President Bakir Izetbegović will be questioned today at the Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was confirmed to Srna in this agency.
SIPA, without giving any other details about the request of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, said that Izetbegović’s testimony was scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
Last week, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an order to SIPA to interrogate Izetbegović due to suspicions that he was inciting national, religious and racial intolerance.
According to the media, Izetbegović will be questioned because of the pre-election rally in Hadžići, where he spoke in July 2022.
“We counted ourselves – and how many hunters we have, and how many young people, and how many instructors we have on drones, and so on. I won’t go further, but just so you know,” said Izetbegović at the time.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has requested to interrogate the director of the Potočari Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, and Reuf Bajrović, who gave their statements yesterday.
