The first “Family Festival” in Jahorina will be held from August 23 to 25. The event is intended for families and children, and a variety of fun and educational activities will be held during the three days, it was announced today at the press conference.
The festival program includes workshops, schools, games, training and recreation, with the aim of providing new knowledge, fun and relaxation. Participants will have the opportunity to meet famous writers such as Ljubivoje Ršumović, Uroš Petrović and Tode Nikoletić, as well as artists Nenad Okanović Oki and Bojan Ivković Boki. Also, numerous surprise guests have been announced.
Lectures will be organized for parents on the topic of children’s health, nutrition, mental abilities, recognition of early illnesses, proper upbringing, adaptation to stress and development of creative abilities. Children will be able to participate in workshops that will encourage their creativity, logical reasoning and love for art, music and sports.
Participation in the festival is free with prior registration on the website of the Olympic Center “Jahorina”.

He pointed out that the summer season on Jahorina is getting better every year, with a record number of visitors.
“Today is the 47th day of the season, and so far we have had 60,000 guests who have made around 100,000 passes at the summer attractions. We are proud to announce that our citizens from East Sarajevo will have the opportunity to enjoy all our attractions completely free of charge during the upcoming weekend, 10 . and on August 11. Also, the 50 percent discount for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina is still valid,” Ljevnaić said.
He also announced that the “Igrišta” ski center will start operating during the summer season from August 9. On that day, the panoramic six-seater ride and tubing will be free, and these activities will also be available on the following weekends when the days are nice.
The press conference was attended by video and online participation by professor dr. Ranko Rajović, who will speak during the festival about the Nikola Tesla Center learning system, which he authored, as well as Nenad Okanović and Bojan Ivković, who expressed their pleasure to come to Jahorina again and announced a rich music program and workshops in which they will recycle waste and make instruments, BHRT writes.
