January 2 and 3 non-working Days in FBiH

The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy informs the public that, according to the Law on Holidays (Official Gazette of SFRJ, number 6/73), New Year is a holiday that is being marked for two days, on January 1 and 2.

The same law stipulates that, if one of the days when the New Year is celebrated is on Sunday, then the first day after those two days is considered non-working.

Therefore, since January 1, 2017 is on Sunday, the Government of FBiH notifies the public that non-working days in the FBiH are Monday, January 2 and Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

On these days, employers, institutions, administration bodies and other legal entities do not work, the Ministry stated.
