Japanese Support for Solving Military Property Issue in BiH

The BiH Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić received the Ambassador of Japan to BiH Hideo Yamakazi.

Ambassador Yamakazi conveyed to Minister Osmić the commitment of the Government and Embassy of Japan to continue to support BiH on its path the Euro-Atlantic integration and expressed interest in helping to solve the issue of military property in BiH.

Minister Osmić thanked Ambassador Yamazaki for his visit and said that the Ministry considers visits and supports from influential countries, such as Japan, very important and places great importance on them.

Minister Osmić briefed the Ambassador on the current activities of the Ministry of Defense and BiH Armed Forces, with a special reference to the activities aimed at the fulfillment of conditions as quickly as possible in order to obtain MAP and for the BiH Armed Forces to participate in peacekeeping missions.
