joe-bidenThe Vice President of USA Joe Biden announced that he is planning to run in the presidential election in 2020. Biden told reporters that he wants to run, but that “he cannot promise anything.”

The Vice President of USA already ran for president twice.

“I will be a candidate fin the presidential election in 2020. However, I cannot promise anything, I cannot commit myself. I have realized long time ago that the fate knows how to make an unusual intervention,” said Biden, as reported by CNBC.

Biden was the Democratic candidate for president in 1988 and 2008, but both times  got out of the race very early. He declined candidacy in 2015.

If he runs the elections in 2020, Biden will be 77 years old, which is three years older than the President-elect Donald Trump at the time of nomination.

Record of the oldest president currently holds Ronald Reagan, who was 77 years old when he left the office in 1989.
