From 17-18 August, Kakanj will be the host to hikers that will participate in the event “Day of BiH Hikers-2013”.

More than 1.000 hikers and many other people from BIH and the region will be hosted by Kakanj in the mountain lodge ‘Bočica’ and the Ravan mountain.

The BIH Hikers Association entrusted the organization of the event to the society “Bobovac” from Kakanj at their 55th birthday.

A record number of BIH hikers is expected this year, nature enthusiasts and citizens, as well as hikers from the region.

Municipality Kakanj is involved in the organization of activities, and on Thursday a meeting was held in the office of the Mayor Nermin Mandra.

He was visited by representatives of the Hiking Society ‘Bobovac’ of Kakanj Elvedin Bešić and Fahrudin Buza. “Everything is prepared for the arrival of guests. The organizing committee with the mayor of Kakanj, as well as the with the main sponsor of the event, completed all the necessary work’’, said the President of the society of ‘Bobovac’ Kakanj Elvedin Bešić.
