5Since yesterday, Turkish Airlines offers return airline tickets from Sarajevo to Istanbul for the price of 161 euros (including taxes) via the Internet.

The price of a return ticket from Sarajevo to Istanbul as part of the summer promotional campaign of Turkish Airlines, which began yesterday, will cost 49 euros without taxes, said the Director of Turkish Airlines to BiH Ahmet Salih Kansu for Anadolija Agency.

According to Kansu, when it comes to arrivals from Turkey to the BiH capital, the most frequent days in the week are Thursday and Friday, and the Turkish national airlines increased the number of flights to Sarajevo to 18 a week.

“In order to increase the number of travelers that come to Sarajevo during the entire week, we chose to launch a promotional campaign with a focus on Tuesday and Wednesday, and airline tickets for travel on those days will cost 49 euros without tax. Thus, the overall price of a return ticket purchased in a Turkish Airlines office will cost 179 euros, and the price of a return ticket purchased via the Internet will be 161 euros.

According to Kansu, the goal of increasing the number of flights is to respond to the continuous growth in the demand for tickets to Sarajevo, and the only condition for using the promotional campaign is to fly on Tuesday or Wednesday from Sarajevo or Istanbul.

In order to promote tourist offers of BiH and to increase the number of flights to Sarajevo from Arab countries, presentations were held of the tourist offers in BiH in Jeddah, Doha, Riyadh and Dubai under the organization of Turkish Airlines. Kansu said that a large number of tourists from Israel, Malaysia and Arab countries would visit BiH in the next period.
