The Clinical Center University of Sarajevo (KCUS) has informed the public of a deficit amounting to six million BAM for the first nine months of 2024.

Acting Director of Non-Medical Professional Services Amir Mavrakovic stated that the causes include organizational units that spent 2 million BAM on material expenses, alongside staff shortages and overtime payments, as well as a significant increase in employee lawsuits. Since the end of 2023, the amount related to these lawsuits has risen by 1.1 million BAM, totaling over 3 million BAM.

In addition to the financial report, there was also a discussion about the selection of a general director. They mentioned four options: appointing Dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanovic as director without the consent of the federal minister, proposing the second-ranked candidate Dr. Alen Pilav, canceling the competition, or reappointing the acting director.
