Swimmer Kenan Dracic from Swimming Club Sport Time Sarajevo achieved an outstanding result, setting an absolute record for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and one of the best results in the history of men’s BiH swimming. In the 200 m freestyle race, he recorded a time of 1:43.97, earning 853 WA points – a result worthy of the final at the European Senior Championships.
On November 8th and 9th, 2025, the international swimming competition “Swim Meet Mladost” was held at the Mladost pool in Zagreb. The competition brought together numerous domestic and international swimmers and is part of the official European Aquatics calendar.
This result confirms the exceptional progress of our national team member and once again demonstrates the potential of BiH swimming on the international stage.
“We believe that in three weeks, at the European Championships in Poland, Kenan will achieve an even better result and further promote BiH swimming in Europe and worldwide,” the Swimming Federation of BiH stated.
