Kerim Alajbegović (19) was among the 25 finalists for the annual Golden Boy award.
This award, hosted by Tuttosport, has long been the gold standard for declaring the best player under the age of 21 in European football.
Alajbegović is one of three Serie A players on the list, along with Roma’s talented summer signing Rodrigo Moro, as well as Fiorentina midfielder Franco Mastantuono, who is on loan from Real Madrid.
Italian media say that it is nice to see this recognition for our Dragon, from whom Juventus has huge expectations, including his coach Luciano Spalletti.
Recently, Alajbegović has only received praise from coach Spalletti, the new general manager of Juventus, Giovanni Carnevali, and from the former Bianconeri and Dragons midfielder, Miralem Pjanić.
The winner of this award will be announced in November.
We remind you that in the last two seasons the Golden Boy award was won by Lamine Yamal from Barcelona and Desire Doue from PSG.
