The Kosovo Force (KFOR) has enhanced security measures to protect critical infrastructure in Kosovo following an explosion and an attack on the canal in Zubin Potok.
In a statement, KFOR emphasized that its Regional Command-East remains ready to provide security, logistical, and engineering support to all communities living in Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to fulfill its mandate based on United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999, contributing to a peaceful and secure environment for all people and communities in Kosovo, as well as freedom of movement, at all times and impartially,” the statement added.
KFOR also noted that it closely cooperates with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their roles as security services.
