Komsic: Dodik continues on his Path towards the final Secession

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and DF leader Zeljko Komsic said that the President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik continues on his path towards the final secession.

“I just hope that everyone in Sarajevo will finally become aware of what this is really about! The same applies to Covic, and especially to his strategic partnership with Dodik in everything,” Komsic wrote on Facebook.

As he stated, “burying your head in the sand and lying to yourself that the two of them have changed and that in fact they are not the problem, but the problem is us who point to it, leads us exactly where Dodik and Covic want us to go – to give up on BiH ourselves!”

“Unfortunately, the opportunism of the international community regarding Dodik’s and Covic’s policies, in this case, is putting out the fire with gasoline!”, concluded Komsic.

It should be recalled that the representatives of the political parties in the RS, led by Milorad Dodik, held a meeting in Banja Luka on Friday, where a joint statement was established in response to the statement of politicians from the Federation of BiH (FBiH) on the issue of state property.

In this draft statement, the signatories stated that they are requesting the convening of a special session of the National Assembly of RS (NARS), where appropriate decisions would be made on the actions of RS authorities and RS representatives in state institutions.

Then, in point three of this statement, the signatories refer to the Dayton Agreement and Annex 2, where “BiH does not own the territory, but only the external border”.

“The Government of the RS undertakes to continue the started negotiations with the Government of the FBiH with the aim of defining the borderline between the RS and the FBiH”, it was further stated in the draft statement.

Also, in the same point 17, it is stated that “the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS commits to forming a special organizational unit within the Ministry of Internal Affairs that will monitor the border between the entities”, Klix.ba reports.
