Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and DF leader Željko Komšić addressed the citizens present in Bužim today.
On that occasion, among other things, he referred to the recent protests of the HDZ members after the monument to RBiH Army General Mehmed Alagić was erected in Vlašić.
“Everything that is happening here today is related to everything that happened around the story of the monument to General Alagić. Maybe this gathering will also be the subject of some announcements, but fine. If that’s the case, I don’t like to scold anyone or I’m sorry. But I want to say to those who are bothered by something like this, who are bothered by what happened at Ljuta Greda, don’t say that General Nanić won’t be a bother tomorrow, I just want to tell them How are you not ashamed when you look in the mirror to put us in the same line as the villains who have all the evil done in Bosnia and Herzegovina? Why do you think so? is that the way to a peaceful Bosnia?” asked Komšić.
“No one can hide the truth. The truth is that all of us, as members of the Army and the MUP, have never kidnapped anyone from anyone that was not ours. We only defended our own. That is the first and big difference. We never reached for other people’s property. We were not raised so, we will defend what is really ours. Why are you trying to humiliate us? What is the problem when you say that you love your country? said that there is no place in this country. There is a place for everyone. Those against whom we went to steal ours, they killed us systematically. What is the problem with defending ourselves?”.
He also referred to the international community.
“I respect our international friends. But don’t lie to us. For two years you left us to die, for two years you let us be slaughtered and then when we created the RBiH Army, which became a real force, then you just started to think what and we say. But, from that moment on, we have to love this country, there is no other,” said Komšić, Klix.ba writes.
