Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić-Radman led the delegations of the two ministries in Sarajevo today in bilateral consultations.
The two officials discussed the bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, the current political situation in these two countries and in the region.
They emphasized a mutual need and desire for sustainable open communication between the two neighboring countries, which is certainly one of the conditions for maintaining and building stability and prosperity for Bosnia and Herzegovina on its way to European integration.
It was concluded that intensive cooperation should be continued on further engagement regarding the implementation of the signing of current agreements and protocols between the two countries, as well as intensifying cooperation through the advantage that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia have as neighboring countries, as a member country and a candidate country for membership in the European Union.
Once again, the importance of trade and cross-border cooperation, as well as cooperation through all bilateral segments, was highlighted, which, along with the institutional continuation of reform processes, sends a positive political message to Europe on the path that Bosnia and Herzegovina has chosen, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
