Alija Kožljak, head of the cabinet of the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, spoke on the occasion of the public speech of the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, in which, commenting on the statement of the Association of Generals of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he made a series of insults and provocations against the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović.
“Nešić becomes contradictory when, after hundreds of attacks from the RS, he says that Bećirović does not bother them. Only the naive can believe that people who are not bothering them are being attacked. Nešić’s cheap propaganda tricks like this, more than transparent, speak the most about their author,” Kožljak points out in a press release.
For some time, as Kožljak adds, Minister Nešić has been part of a media campaign directed against the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović, so he does not choose an occasion or a time to insult, insinuate and provoke, in order to remain present in the media space.
“In recent years, we have become convinced that politicians from the Bosnia and Herzegovina entity RS are trying to persuade and mobilize part of the public, with aggressive attacks on those who see the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina as unique, whole and sovereign, and consider all its citizens equal. There is no other explanation for the constant reactions and cheap populism of Minister Nešić – says Kožljak.
He adds that Nešić was entrusted by the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the honorable position of Minister of Security of the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which implies a responsible and professional approach to security threats and challenges, all with the goal of peace and stability, as basic prerequisites for prosperity and progress. Therefore, it is inappropriate for Nešić to use the position of Minister of Security for nationalist, down-to-earth and offensive rhetoric, Kožljak emphasizes.
“And as far as the order is concerned, we will refrain from commenting on that for now, because Nešić and similar actions are leading the RS through isolation and sanctions that post-Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina does not remember. Because of all this, it would be more appropriate if the policy of Nenad Nešić and other politicians from the Bosnia and Herzegovina entity RS, instead of attacking the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, was aimed at the development and stability of the entire state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” concluded Kožljak.
