The judoist Larisa Cerić was pronounced for the best athlete in B&H in the year 2014 by the traditional 70th edition of the selection made by the Sports Federation of B&H. This multiple champion in the category over 78 kilos won medals at almost all international competition at which she was performing last year. She won silver at the European championship as well as at the European club championship and the 1st place at the European judo Cup.
At last night’s ceremony held at the National Theatre in Sarajevo, the award was handed to this 23 years old successful athlete by the member of the Presidency of B&H Bakir Izetbegović who also sponsored the manifestation.
Larisa Cerić won the award for the 5th time while the most successful athlete in men’s category was the karate virtuous Admir Zukan, winner of the bronze medal at the World Championship and winner of the silver medal at the Balkans Championship.
