The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region with 91 drones last night, and all the drones sent were destroyed, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters today, according to the TASS agency.
Lavrov said that Moscow would not leave Kiev’s attack unanswered and that the objectives and timing of Russian retaliation after the attack on the presidential residence had been determined.
The Russian foreign minister stressed that this action was carried out by Kiev amid intensive negotiations on resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
Lavrov indicated that Russia’s negotiating position would be reviewed in light of what he called “the Kiev regime’s final transition to a policy of state terrorism.”
