The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, arrives today for a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During his official visit, Lavrov will have official meetings with the three-member Presidency of BiH, Chairman Milorad Dodik and members Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic, as well as with BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic.

In addition, he will have a separate meeting with Chairman Dodik, and today at 6.30 pm a joint press conference of Dodik and Lavrov will be held in East Sarajevo.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia was planned for October 28th and 29th, but as he found himself in isolation due to the pandemic, all planned visits were postponed.

Lavrov was in BiH for the last time before the 2018 local elections, when he visited Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
