American basketball player LeBron James reached the unreal number of 39,000 points scored in the NBA last night.

James, one of the greatest players in NBA history, reached 39,000 career points on Tuesday, making him the first player ever to surpass that mark.

The basketball player, who has been with the Los Angeles Lakers since 2018, scored 17 points against the Utah Jazz and crossed the threshold of 39,000 points in the NBA.

The Lakers won the game with a score of 131:99 at home and are in sixth place in the Western Conference, led by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have won ten of the 13 games played this season. The Lakers led by James have a record of nine wins and six losses.

Four-time NBA champion James, who will turn 39 on December 30, is playing his 21st season in the NBA, and has scored 39,012 points so far.

James is expected to reach 40,000 points this season.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, an NBA legend who retired in 1989, is second on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 38,387 career points. James overtook him in February this year.

Among active players, 35-year-old Phoenix Suns basketball player Kevin Durant, a former NBA champion, scored 27,331 points in his career.
