Ferrari’s duo Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton lost the points they earned in yesterday’s Chinese Grand Prix.

Leclerc and Hamilton, who finished the race in fifth and sixth place, were later disqualified for violating regulations.

Leclerc’s car weighed less than the prescribed minimum at the end of the race, while the rear skid block on Hamilton’s Ferrari was thinner than the minimum thickness required by technical regulations.

Alpine driver Pierre Gasly was also disqualified, as his car was below the required weight. Gasly had finished in eleventh place.

Following the disqualifications, Lance Stroll (Aston Martin) and Carlos Sainz (Williams) moved into the points, finishing ninth and tenth.

The winner of yesterday’s race, the second of the Formula 1 season, was Oscar Piastri in a McLaren, finishing ahead of his teammate Lando Norris and third-placed George Russell in a Mercedes.
