Levante Prof - 2015Aimed mainly at sector professionals and buyers coming from the Balkan Peninsula, Levante PROF, taking place in Bari from March 12th to 15th, is devoted to artisan bread, pastry, pizza and fresh pasta, artisan ice-cream, beer and wine fields, cafe and restaurant interior design and furniture, hotel equipment and confectionary.

Organized by DMP Srl, the trade fair will take place in the new and prestigious pavilion of Fiera del Levante in Bari – always labeled as the “Gateway to the East” -, and aims at strengthening its international position as the meeting place for buyers of various food sectors coming primarily from Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Greece.

During the four days, foreign visitors will be given not only the opportunity of finding out, touching and learning new processing techniques and the use of equipment and machinery, but also the chance to keep up the latest news about pre-selling and packaging, and of unique design solutions for coffee shops, catering facilities and hotellerie. Also, they will meet more than three hundred companies, acquire their know-how and products, and discuss with them new business opportunities in the Balkan emerging markets.

Levate PROF, divided into thematic sections, will showcase the latest trends and innovations in the field of food raw materials and basic products, food machinery and processing equipment, furnishing and accessories for ice-cream parlors and pastry shops, bakery equipments and machinery, catering materials and supplies, and packaging materials and machines. Also, the international exhibition will host a rich program of events, such as demos and in-depth educational seminars, courses and international contests during which well-known chefs will participate in highly professional competitions.

“We want to provide – explains Ezio Amendola, organizer of Levante PROF – Balkan food specialists with the most recent techniques and tools useful to improve their production standards and grow their own businesses.”
