Lion of Pionirska Dolina got a name – Rily

pionirska 3Young lion, who came to Sarajevo in March got a name – Rily. The name was chosen by children and youth of Sarajevo, reports Oslobođenje.

Young lion became quite a superstar and from now on he’ll have his sponsors- the basketball club Realway, who’ll give money for lion’s food, since he can eat up to 7 kilograms of meat a day.

On that occasion, on 23 June at 4 p.m. on Bjelašnica, as a part of summer camp of the Realway club, manager of the club Amer Čolan and Manager of ‘Park’ company Safet Baltić will sign one year contract on cooperation and sponsorship and from Sunday, the lion will become the official mascot of the club.

The member of the club also received free one year ticket to Sarajevo ZOO – Pionirska Dolina.

Soon, the club will get a jersey with the mascot of the lion. The mascot will be installed in Pionirska dolina in September.
