The Ministry of Energy and Mining of Federation of BiH should sign a contract with IHS Global from London, which has been selected as a consultant for the development of a tender for the award of a concession for exploration of oil and gas in FBiH in the coming weeks.

This was confirmed by Begajeta Habota from the FBiH Government Commission that participated in the selection of an expert consultant on the basis of an international tender, according to Dnevni avaz newspapers.

This world giant in the field of consulting in the energy sector has won the tender and will be paid 1.5 million BAM.

Habota explained that this British firm has 16 months to prepare tender documentation and a public call for oil companies seeking oil in the FBiH.

“They have the obligation to make the promotion of the Federation of BiH in London when it comes to oil deposits, but also to help the government in negotiating with companies that want this job,” Habota says.
