Long-term investments in energy projects in BiH is the vision of representatives of the international Turkish company “Yesenerji” which was received today at the headquarters of the FBiH by the Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić.

The Director of this company Melih Tarioglu spoke with the FBiH Prime Minister of the intentions to engage in some of the projects, as well as collect information on eventual investments for now.

The Turkish company places particular emphasis on oil terminals of the FBiH in Ploče, implying that they had previously held talks with the management of the terminals in the FBiH.

On this occasion they found out the current situation in this company and the steps that were taken in order to overcome the problems that occurred after the termination of business cooperation with “Deltagrip”.

Tarioglu pointed out that the interest of this company goes back even further, an that the construction of the small refinery in BiH that would connect with Termain I would offer production that would be a cheaper alternative on the market.

He particularly emphasized that after the stay in BiH and getting to know the situation in the field, his company would send a binding letter of intent in which they would express their serious interest in investing in this project.

“The oil terminals in the FBIH in Ploče gains further importance with the entry of Croatia in the EU and becomes more interesting to every investor. Of course, every investment is welcome to us, but this is a very complex matter, especially the story around the refinery. For this, a serious study is needed’’, said Prime Minister Nikšić. He pointed out that the letter of intent to the FBiH government has to be a detailed framework for construction of the refinery, vision, location, urban questions, space, environmental approvals and other parameters.

The Director of the Turkish Company expressed interest in investing in renewable energy resources, especially solar.
