Greek carrier Lumiwings has scheduled the introduction of flights between Tuzla and Istanbul after being granted permits to launch operations between the two cities. The service, which will be subsidised by local authorities in Tuzla, will commence on March 5 and run twice per week, each Tuesday and Sunday, with the Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

It becomes the airline’s sixth route out of Tuzla after it launched operations from the city to Esbjerg, Halmstad, Maastricht, Saarbrucken, and Stockholm Skavsta last December. It marks the first time Tuzla has been linked to Istanbul with a scheduled air service. Further flight details can be found here.

As of March, Lumiwings will boast twelve weekly departures from Tuzla, offering a total of 1.788 outbound seats. Tickets for the new Istanbul flights are now available for purchase through the airline’s website, Ex Yu Aviation news writes.
