President of RS Milorad Dodik said that RS is devoted to securing the equality of all its citizens, regardless of ethnicity or religion.
During the reception for representatives of ethnic minorities, on the occasion of 9th January, the Day of the Republic and Patron Saint’s Day of RS -The Holy Protomartyr Stephen the Archdeacon, Dodik pointed the contributions of ethnic minorities to the development of RS.
During the reception for academics and representatives of publishers of RS Dodik thanked them for the great enthusiasm for their work, adding that the RS authorities and institutions will continue, as much as possible, to help the functioning of institutions of culture and science.
At the reception for the students and athletes, Dodik thanked them for their efforts and their results which contributed to the affirmation of RS.
Dodik awarded 10 best athletes of RS with 1000 BAM each, and from the budget of the President of RS, additional 10 000 BAM will be given to representatives of RS at the International Fair of Knowledge in London.
During a reception for the media, Dodik, among other things, said that RS is trying to create a framework in which the professionalism of the media will be raised to a higher level in order to make 2013 the year of freedom of the press.
