admir malagićSpokesperson of the B&H Ministry of Security Admir Malagić said for Agency Fena that today is expected the arrival of a team from Italy consisting of 120 people, who will come with complete equipments for pumping  and purifying water, but also for reconstruction of grounds after these major floods.

“One police helicopter already returned to Slovenia and today the other military helicopter from Slovenia ends the mission in B&H. Also, two helicopters from Croatia have finished their mission. Practically, from rescuing missions we are passing into delivering aid mission”, said Malagić.

He added that B&H Armed Forces and EUFOR will continue to operate in emergency interventions, meaning to deliver assistance in places that can not be reached by road communications.

Asked about the place where the situation continues to be the most difficult, Malagić said that is Orašje, where most of the teams were concentrated even yesterday.

“Bosanski Šamac, there is still the “struggle” with pumping water and providing enough quantities of drinking water. Brčko also, where international teams have been concentrated and partially in Bijeljina”, said Malagić.
